Terms of Use

What EraseMySoul is

EraseMySoul is a free, informational tool that (1) checks an email address against publicly available data-breach databases and (2) helps you locate and contact data brokers and people-search sites to request removal of your information. It is a self-service utility, not a managed removal service.

No guarantees

Breach data comes from third-party sources and may be incomplete or out of date. A clean result does not guarantee your data is not exposed elsewhere. Opt-out processes, links, and email addresses are controlled by the individual brokers and change frequently; we cannot guarantee any broker will honor a request or that a removal is permanent. We cannot and do not remove data from the dark web.

Not legal advice

The sample CCPA/CPRA request letters and any information on this site are provided for convenience and general information only. They are not legal advice and do not create an attorney–client relationship. Consult a qualified attorney for advice about your situation.

Acceptable use

You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes and only to look up information relating to yourself or someone you are authorized to act for. Do not use it to harass, profile, or investigate others, and do not attempt to overload, scrape, or attack the service.

Provided "as is"

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EraseMySoul is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site.

Third-party links

The Removal Center links to third-party broker websites. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.
